About the Artist

My art is inspired by the quiet power of the coast, where light dances, water moves, and stillness can be felt even in motion. Rooted in nature and guided by feeling, I paint from a place of deep connection to the sea, to self, and to the spaces in between.

I was born in Broadstairs, a small seaside town in Kent, England, where I grew up by the ocean. From an early age, I was moved by the rhythm and mood of the sea, its quiet strength, shifting light, and ever-changing movement. That connection continues to shape my creative voice.

Now based in Geelong, Victoria, Australia, I paint oil on canvas, drawing from both photographs and memory. I’ve lived in London, Cambridge and Norwich, painting for five years before relocating with my family. I’m also a general practitioner and a mother, roles that call for presence, care, and resilience. Painting offers me a space for stillness and reflection. It allows me to slow down, connect with nature, and move through life more lightly and mindfully.

Through my work, I hope to share the sense of calm and connection that painting gives me, capturing not just the view, but the feeling of being near the water.
